This Legal Notice provides important disclosures about Brux Aware and is incorporated by reference into the Brux Aware Terms of Service. Please read it together with the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Return & Refund Policy, Shipping Policy, and Limited Warranty.

1. Company Identification

Brux Aware products and services are provided by MedSense Labs, LLC, a California limited liability company doing business as Brux Aware (“Brux Aware,” “MedSense Labs,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). “Brux Aware” is a registered fictitious business name (DBA) of MedSense Labs, LLC. MedSense Labs, LLC is the seller of record and operator of the Services. Our store is powered by Shopify.

2. General Wellness Product — Not a Medical Device

Brux Aware is a general wellness product. It is designed and marketed solely to help you become more aware of recognized clenching and grinding activity through sensor technology, a companion app, and optional gentle vibration feedback.

Brux Aware is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, mitigate, prevent, or monitor bruxism, temporomandibular joint disorder (TMJ/TMD), any sleep, dental, neurological, or other disease, disorder, injury, or medical condition. It has not been cleared, approved, or authorized by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) or any comparable authority, and it has not been evaluated in clinical trials. Statements about Brux Aware have not been evaluated by the FDA.

Detection technology is imperfect: the Product may not recognize every clenching or grinding event, may register false positives or miss events (false negatives), and may not operate continuously. Notifications, scores, trends, and feedback are informational only and are intended to support general wellness awareness. Individual results vary, and we do not guarantee any awareness, behavioral, sleep, dental, or health outcome.

3. No Medical Advice; Consult a Professional

The Product, app, website, and all related content are for general wellness and informational purposes only and are not a substitute for professional medical or dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and do not create any provider-patient relationship. Always consult a qualified healthcare or dental professional with questions about your health, teeth, jaw, grinding, clenching, or sleep, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of anything accessed through the Services. If you may be having a medical or dental emergency, contact emergency services or a qualified professional immediately. Brux Aware is not intended for emergency use.

4. Results, Testimonials, and Endorsements

Any testimonials, reviews, or results described reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar results. Where we present endorsements or reviews, they reflect the honest opinions of the individuals providing them; any material connection between us and an endorser (for example, free product, compensation, or an affiliate relationship) is disclosed as required by the FTC’s Endorsement Guides. References to the professional backgrounds of our team or advisors describe experience and do not imply that Brux Aware is a medical device, is clinically validated, or is endorsed or certified by any agency or institution.

The Services and their contents — including software, firmware, algorithms, designs, text, graphics, images, video, user interfaces, trademarks, logos, and trade dress — are owned by or licensed to MedSense Labs, LLC and protected by intellectual-property laws. “MedSense Labs,” “Brux Aware,” the Brux Aware logo, and related names and slogans are trademarks of MedSense Labs, LLC. You may not use them without our prior written permission. The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are registered trademarks owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc.; Apple, Apple Health, and App Store are trademarks of Apple Inc.; Google, Google Play, and Health Connect are trademarks of Google LLC. All other marks are the property of their respective owners, and their mention does not imply endorsement. Except as expressly permitted in the Terms of Service, no license to any intellectual property is granted.
