Fitting Steps
About 10 minutes. You need two coffee mugs, a kettle, and a fork or tongs. These are the same nine steps the app walks you through. The app adds the timers.
Do not peel the lid until the app reaches Fit your sensor. Breaking the seal ends the free unopened return.
An adult should carry out the fitting. The hot water step is a burn risk.

Get two mugs ready
Fill one coffee mug with cold tap water. Leave the other one empty.

Sensor into the empty mug
Snap the sensor into the fitting tray and stand it in the empty mug, handle up.
Step 3 of 9
Boil, then count to 10
Boil the water, take it off the heat, and wait 10 seconds.
Timer in the app: 10 seconds
Never microwave the sensor, or put it in a dishwasher or the kettle.

Pour, then wait 1 minute
Pour the hot water into the mug with the sensor until it is covered. Keep the handle above the water.
Timer in the app: 1 minute
Pour slowly. The mug will be hot.

Lift it out and dip it
Lift it out by the handle with a fork or tongs, then give it one quick up-and-down dip in the cold water.
Do not skip the dip. It stops a burn. Just a quick dip.

Put it in
Line it up so the handle sticks straight out of your mouth and your teeth go into the middle of the tray. Push it in and up with your hand and suck in, to get it as tight around your teeth as you can.

Bite down for 1 minute
Bite down and hold.

Step 8 of 9
Leave it in 1 more minute
Stop biting, but keep it on your teeth and do not move it. It is still setting.

Step 9 of 9
Cold water for 5 minutes
Take it out and put it in the cold water for 5 minutes so the fit sets.
